The Annual Otero County Fair and Rodeo kicks off on Thursday, August 17th! Tons of food, fun and and of course, rides! Make your plans to attend this Southern NM staple! Thursday through Sunday, Gate charge is $4 for 13 & up, $3 for kids 6 to 12, and no charge for 5 and under & 62 and older!

September 2-3, 2017 27th Annual Cottonwood Festival
The 27th Annual Cottonwood Festival is happening at Alameda Park and will include food vendors, art & craft vendors, live music and entertainment! Monday, September 11, 2017 United We Stand
United We Stand will be a 9/11 Remembrance event held from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. There will be a parade and the 9/11 Memorial Fire Truck. Save the date, more details to come.
Saturday, October 7, 2017 Trinity Breakfast & Tour
The Alamogordo Breakfast Lions will be hosting a low cost breakfast at the Tularosa High School from 6:30 am until 8:00 am so that you can eat before leaving for the Trinity Site. The caravan out to the site will leave promptly at 8:00 am and should return around 2:00 pm. It is free to join the caravan out to the Trinity Site! This monthly meeting is free and open to the public. Join the committee to discuss issues, events and that could influence the community. This event is the second Tuesday of each month in the Alamogordo Chamber of Commerce Conference Room at 8 am.
Last Friday of the Month
This committee discusses land and air transportation issues impacting the Tularosa Basin. The committee meets the last Friday of each month at Pepper’s Grill at noon.
